5 Tips to Get the Most Out of Any Kid's Activity

As you know, our goal is to provide your children with the best possible training and development in gymnastics, ninja, and more. We believe that a team approach, with coaches, parents, and athletes all working together, is the key to achieving success.

That is why we want to share these five best practices for working with any leader of any activity your child participates in!

No. 1 Attend Regularly

Consistent attendance is important in helping your child build physical strength and endurance. It also provides a sense of routine and structure that will be beneficial in other areas of their life.

No. 2 Encourage a Growth Mindset

At Perpetual Motion, your child will learn new skills and face new challenges. It's important to foster a growth mindset. This means focusing on effort and progress rather than just natural talent or ability. Encourage your child to keep trying, even when they don't succeed right away, and be sure to celebrate their progress along the way!

No. 3 Celebrate Successes

Big and small . . . acknowledge and celebrate your child's successes, no matter the size. Every step forward is worth celebrating.

No. 4 Communicate with Coaches

Our coaches are here to support your child's development and help them reach their full potential. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask questions! We are here to work together with you to help your child succeed.

No. 5 Have fun!

Extracurricular activities should be fun and enjoyable. Encourage your child to have fun and enjoy the process of learning and growing, rather than solely focusing on achieving specific goals.

We hope you find these tips helpful and that you continue to be involved and engaged in your child's athletic journey. Have a great week!
